Crown City
A port city of animals wrapped around a bay. Its districts ring the water like the points of a crown, and Crown Hill rises in the middle with the Crown, the bell tower the city is named after, on top.
Animals of every kind live here, and neighborhoods tend to match: raccoons in the arcade alleys, otters at the harbor, cats on the roofs. Nobody comments on species. A bear courier is just a courier.
By day it’s a busy port: ferries, offices, school runs. For a hundred years its nights were the loudest on the coast. Since Quiet Hours, they’re the quietest.
